What advice would you give to other brides in regards to dress shopping?
"Go into your appointment with an open mind + don't zero in on one specific thing. Just have a short list of 'definitely not' styles or looks that you want to stay away from + go from there. I knew I absolutely did not want sleeves for my spring style wedding, but other than that I was open minded."
How did the two of you meet?
"We met through mutual friends at a party!"
What made you decide to get married on April 14th?
"We really really wanted a spring wedding + May is way too busy of a month for us! The added bonus is that we love the way '4.14.18' looks!"
What was one of your favorite moments from your wedding day?
"Our first look + the actual ceremony. Both were very authentic + memorable for us."
When did you realize Blake was "the one"?
"When Blake decided to finish college at Emporia State University about four-six ish months into us dating. This meant we would start a long distance relationship, but I had no fears or doubts about him moving away + us not being able to make it work. It just felt right."
Did you have a specific theme in mind while planning?
"We went for springy, woodsy, whimsical + romantic + used blush pink's, mauve's, charcoal gray + ivory to pull it off!"
Where did you draw your inspiration + ideas from?
"Mainly Pinterest + EA Bride magazine - both were so helpful!"
