Covid-19 Policies + Procedures UPDATE

COVID-19 Policies + Procedures

Effective May 14th, 2021

The CDC and the city of Kansas City have lifted the mask mandates for those that are fully vaccinated (two weeks post one dose of Johnson and Johnson or two doses of Pfizer or Moderna) against COVID-19.

Per the CDC website, “Fully vaccinated people can resume activities without wearing a mask or physically distancing, except where required by federal, state, local, tribal, or territorial laws, rules, and regulations, including local business and workplace guidance.”

In ordinance with the above, Something White Bridal Boutique will be implementing a mask-optional policy for those that are fully vaccinated and feel comfortable without wearing a mask.

Appointment Guidelines:

  • Masks are required to be worn at all times for those who are not fully vaccinated. If you do not have one, a face covering will be provided for you before entering the boutique. Visitors not willing to comply with such will kindly be asked to wait outside the boutique for the duration of the appointment. Something White Bridal Boutique reserves the right to request proof of vaccination.

  • We will continue to limit each group to no more than four guests in addition to the bride. Five people in total.

  • We ask that guests under the age of 15 stay home to eliminate the potential of spreading the virus undetected.

  • We will provide an iPad should you feel the need to Facetime with key decision makers that are not able to be present during your appointment.

  • All viewing areas are spaced more than six feet apart so that throughout your entire appointment social distancing can be maintained.

  • We will only be allowing brides to browse through our inventory + ask that other party members remain seated during the gown selection process + the duration of the appointment.

  • We will not be serving champagne + do not allow food or beverages from the outside.

  • We kindly ask you to reschedule your appointment if you have symptoms, are not feeling well, have had contact with COVID-19 in the last 14 days or have traveled to or from a hotspot.

Additional Tips:

  • Limit the number of in-store visits you make. Deciding to purchase your gown during your first appointment will save you needing to come for a second visit. If it is not possible to make an immediate purchase decision, we encourage you to order over the phone or via email.

  • If you are fully vaccinated and would prefer to still wear a mask, you absolutely can. Want your stylist to wear a mask too? No problem - just let us know prior to your appointment.

  • If you are concerned about being in the boutique with others who may not be wearing a mask, please do not hesitate to let us know. We would be happy to have you come in at a time when the boutique is less busy.

  • Reschedule your appointment if you have symptoms or are not feeling well.

  • Wash your hands often with soap + water for at least 20 seconds.

  • Avoid touching your eyes, nose + mouth.

Above all, we ask that you allow us grace as we continue to adapt our business in accordance with CDC guidelines.
