Brock + Haley’s Sabetha, Kansas wedding was simple, summery + perfect. With earthy tones + terra-cotta accents, the bride + groom said their I do’s in front of their closest friends + family. Brock popped the question on Christmas Eve at Liquid Art Winery in Manhattan, Kansas + Haley found her dream gown for their dream day shortly after in February. She was able to bring her mom, future mother-in-law, sister + future sister-in-law to her appointment + when her stylist suggested trying Robert Bullock Bride’s Sunni gown, it was practically a no-brainer! It’s comfortable, simple + felt like Haley so she said yes to the dress!
How did you decide on August 8th?
“We really wanted a summer wedding + to be married before the school year started so we felt like August was the best month to have our wedding. It’s also my birthday month!”
How did you know your gown was the one?
“I knew my gown was the one because I felt so comfortable in it + I felt like myself. It was very me. Simple.”
How did the two of you meet?
“Brock + I met in Manhattan, Kansas on Fake Patty’s Day while celebrating St. Patricks Day with our friends.”
What advice would you give to other brides in regard to dress shopping?
“Don’t book four bridal appointments at four different bridal shops in one day. You will more than likely find your perfect dress at the first or second appointment like I did!”
Tell us about the proposal!
“Brock proposed on Christmas Eve at Liquid Art Winery!”
What was one of your favorite moments from your wedding day?
“Driving around in an old Mustang right after the ceremony with Brock. It was nice to have some alone time with him to take it all in.”
Where did you draw your inspiration + ideas from?
“As always, Pinterest!”
Did you have a specific theme in mind while wedding planning?
“Absolutely! I am a huge nature lover + decided I wanted the wedding theme to be really earthy. Terra-cotta was our accent color so of course we had plants in terra-cotta pots as our centerpieces. Some of our other colors were very neutral tones.”
