REAL BRIDE: Alex

Alex + Noah

5.7.22

It’s about to go down, that’s for sure. Alex and Noah are featured as today’s #swbbkcbride blog feature - finally! This special day has been in the drafts for far too long (I’d be embarrassed to admit just how long) and I’m so glad it’s finally getting shared with the world today. These two definitely deserve another moment in the spotlight.

This beautiful May wedding features the most stunning girl gang, one super cute puppers, neon signs, green fields and The Haven Event Space - all of which are absolutely heavenly. Every aspect of Alex and Noah’s spring wedding was perfection and judging by the smiles on their faces - I’m sure they more than agree.

Well, what are you waiting for?! Scroll on!

What was your favorite moment of wedding day?

“My favorite moments were getting ready with my bridesmaids, dancing with Noah and our best friends and family, and our first dance. We danced to Tenerife Sea which is a song we picked out 4 years ago. Oh! And it was special having my brother walk me down the aisle. Our Alaskan Malamute was our ring bearer which was super fun! It was the best day!”

How did the two of you meet?

“Noah and I met in high school through an organization. We did not start dating until freshman year of college - we both went to K-State!”

How did the proposal go?

“Noah proposed at Brush Creek on the plaza - we were on the boat dock after a gondola ride. Super cheesy but super sweet. We had an engagement party waiting for us back at his apartment rooftop. I could not have asked for a better night!”

How did you know your gown was “the one”?

“For my dress, I just knew! Once I had my heart set on it, every other gown started to feel less exciting to put on. I just kept wanting to see my dress again! I could not have loved it more.

What advice would you give to other brides?

“Do your best to stop as many times as you can throughout your day. Take a deep breath and take it all in! It’s so hard to do, but absorb it as much as possible. It’s the most amazing thing being in your favorite gown with your favorite person surrounded by your favorite people. Try to live in it all as intentionally as you can!”

Where did you draw wedding inspiration from?

“Embarrassing to admit…I used TikTok for ideas! Pinterest of course, too! I mostly thrifted things and picked out colors I loved and ran with it! My brain was all over the place but I was shooting for a more boho, earth tones, sage and gold color scheme!”

Congratulations, Mr. + Mrs. Kaifes!

We can’t wait to see all that’s to come for the two of you!
