What made you decide to get married on this particular date?

“We loved the idea of getting married on Labor day weekend!”

How did you know your gown was "the one"?

“The dress I chose was not at all what I thought I wanted- I didn't even really want to try it on! Carly asked me to trust her and I did- best decision ever! It fit me absolutely perfectly and I fell in love instantly. The bow in the back pushed it over the top!”

How did the two of you meet?

“We met at our work, formed a friend group with our colleagues, and started dating from there!”

How did the proposal happen?

“He surprised me at a tulip festival (tulips are my favorite flower)! Then we spent the day together at a picnic at a park. Finally, he surprised me with a dinner/engagement party with all of our family and friends!”

What was one of your favorite moments from your wedding day?

“It started raining right before our ceremony, so we had to move the wedding inside. But it made the day so much more magical than we could have imagined. All of our friends and family came together to make it so beautiful. We both cried as I walked down the aisle.”

Did you have a specific theme in mind while planning (if any - colors, features, etc.)?

“We both LOVED the classic black and white theme!”

What advice would you give to other brides in regards to dress shopping?

“Trust your stylist! The dress I chose was not my vision at all but it was perfect for me!!”
