Did you have a specific theme in mind while planning (if any - colors, features, etc.)?
“Yes, I wanted a modern twist on a boho-ish fall wedding. I wanted neutrals with light pink, rusty red, and peach. I wanted a lot of candle lighting, and a bit of a vintage twist on things as well.”
What made you decide to get married on this particular date?
“We always wanted a fall wedding, so October was a must for us.”
How did the two of you meet?
“We met at Table Rock Lake one weekend when we were both at the lake with friends in 2020, so getting married at Table Rock Lake was a full circle moment for us.”
What was one of your favorite moments from your wedding day?
“Our first look was the best moment for me for sure.”
How did the proposal happen?
“He proposed at the WWI memorial, and had my best friend bring me there after dinner. We had a party with all of our friends & family following the engagement.”
What advice would you give to other brides in regards to dress shopping?
“I bought the first dress I tried on. I would say to look at the websites of the stores you're going to and get an idea of what exact dresses you may want to try on because it will really help them know what kind of style you're going for.”
How did you know your gown was "the one"?
“I found the dress online before I came to Something White, and I asked to try it on first. It was everything I had pictured and more when I actually put it on in the store and it was a very rare look so I knew I wouldn't find anything else like it.”
Where did you draw your inspiration/ideas from?
“Pinterest mostly, and my planners past weddings.”
Congratulations Mr. + Mrs. Ripp!
Your day was absolutely stunning and we’re SO happy we got to be a part of it! We’re wishing you so much happiness in your next chapter together!
