What do you get when you combine spring florals, two cuties in love and a bride with a day-of-cordination past? Maddy and Josh’s big day - that’s what! Today is giving spring time vibes in KC and I couldn’t resist posting this special and beautiful day any longer. From the lavish florals to Maddy’s iconic Madi Lane bridal gown (customized with a Lis Simon sash) and everything in between, April 16th is sure to make you smile and may cause spring wedding envy!

We are big fans of a whimsical wedding and Abby and Jake’s celebration epitomizes that laid back, romantic, let’s-do-this-thing love aesthetic we can’t get enough of. Abby and Jake chose a stunning stone church for their nuptials and celebrated accordingly at Avent Orangery - one of Kansas City’s most unique venues. Their day was a perfect blend of romantic and organic vibes and they let their venues speak for themselves while incorporating minimalistic decor for an ethereal feel.

Well, hello, friends! It’s been awhile since we’ve blogged (over a year to be exact) and I cannot think of a better wedding and couple to kick things off again! If you follow Something White in any capacity, you know my brother, Ben, got married over the summer. You also know that Ben married my best friend - so I guess you could call me Cupid. ;)

We are thrilled to announce the beginning of our brand new charitable initiative, Something Furever by Something White! We’ve partnered with one of Kansas City’s most loved rescue centers, Unleashed Pet Rescue, in effort to make this dream project a successful reality. Inspired by our team’s collective love of furry friends (especially our beloved shop doggo, Lard) we wanted to give back to Kansas City’s animal community in the most thoughtful way we could think of. Here’s a run down of “The Why” behind Something Furever.
